PERFORMANCE ATTIRE: What should students wear to concerts?

• Pants/Skirt (no jeans)

• All-City T-shirts

• Shoes (no Sneakers)

ATTENDANCE POLICIES:

• Planned absences must be communicated at least 2 weeks in advance.

• Students are allowed two (2) unexcused absences.

• Absences directly before a performance will prevent participation in the concert unless otherwise discussed with director.

 

HIGH SCHOOL SEASONS:

• Short: October-March 

• Full: October – May           

If changes occur, please notify us by February 1st so we can re-organize groups.

REHEARSALS:

Students will participate in one group rehearsal per week.  Groups will be assigned based on age, instrumentation, and the student's availability (submitted in the registration form).  More detailed rehearsal schedules will be sent out at the beginning of the season after groups are assigned. 

• Middle School: Wednesdays - 4:15pm or 5:15pm

• High School: Mondays – 4:15pm or 5:15pm  OR  Thursdays - 4:15pm or 5:15pm

 

PAYMENTS:

All payments can be made directly through the website by visiting the Registration & Payments page. If you are having issues with website payments – please reach out!  

 

SCHOLARSHIPS:

If the cost of the Missoula All-City Jazz Program is a barrier for you and your family, we offer a small scholarship program for those eligible. Please contact us for details.

HOW CAN PARENTS GET INVOLVED?:​

• A successful performance requires quite a bit of set up and take down. Help from parent and family volunteers is always appreciated!​

• We would like to start an All-City Jazz Parent board to help with program logistics – please contact us if you are interested!
